A easy way is sunglasses that are polarized and see if it looks wavy and or has a rainbow color too it. I would try it out on a car window so you know what it looks like first. Most tank bottoms are tempered but if you know the manufacture you can also look up if they use a tempered bottom.

Either contact the manufacturer of the aquarium and ask, or as porterreef said, get some sunglasses that are polarized and look at the tank through them and if you see lines going through the glass its tempered. Looks something like this.

put on sunglasses and put a computer screen behind the glass. Set the screen to white and you should see a rainbow in the glass.
