Just discovered the leds in my drop 1.4x are no longer lighting up. Is there any way to fix this or am I in for a new model?

Perhaps now I know why my nitrates have been climbing but the algae in the ATS has remained stagnant.

Is the little blue light on the two power supply boxes?
There is only one power supply box (perhaps it’s just the 1.4) and it does light up when plugged in, yes.

I feel like this crusty white stuff should not be between the housing and the interior? This was after I’d poked at it some.

The white hard surface on the inside is the green grabber material and that is what the algae can grab onto and grow as well as the strings inside.

Ok. Well unfortunately it cannot be fixed anymore; it would need a whole new box.

You could however put your own waterproofed LED inside it, and make use of the bubbles, case, and growth surface. There are many cheap 660nm deep red LEDs on ebay.

Or you could open it up and place it against a sump wall and shine a light through it, in which case it would operate just like our Hog models.

Or just use it without light, and put some algae inside, and as the algae dies off it will feed the pods which will flow out of the holes.

Thanks for your attention to my issue. Time to either look into a replacement or a fix myself as you mentioned.
It’s being used in an AIO chamber so the HOG option is probably least available. But, I’ll do some research.
