Thanks everyone :) my wife even thought it was very pretty :eek: (she doesn’t know what it cost ;Locktopic) ;)

Here’s a couple pictures from tonight. He is eating algae from the clip and LRS reef frenzy so far.

A few new additions from yesterday. 2 more Tuxedo urchins and a couple Gorgonians. They seemed to enjoy the reef roids this morning. I might try some more NPS since my tank is so dirty :p

Dang! Well it happens unfortunately...part of the game. If it makes u feel any better I recently lost most of my fish to bad case of ich. 2 older snowflake clowns, hippo tang, yellow tang, about 4 wrasses and swissguard basslet. Back to the drawing board lol O well better planning and quarantining next time for me [emoji2369]

No idea. Seemed fine before work. No sign of stress or parasites. Ate last night.

Really bums me out. It seemed so healthy. QT was clean and had filter floss which was seeded with bacteria.

Eventually, yes. I still can’t believe it though... I guess it was too good to be true. I only paid $425 shipped.

I’ll clean out the tank for now. There are a few corals and other fish I’ll get before trying again though.

Wow. I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of the fish. Do you have any sense if it was disease or a water issue? Have you thought about sending in a water sample to a lab for testing?

No idea what the cause was. I don’t have any reason to believe it’s the water as it hasn’t harmed anything else. Really weird and depressing.

I googled fish necropsy, there’s a lot of guides out there if you think you could find the cause that way. ;Nailbiting

I saw where you posted no guarantee, but it would be interesting to see if the vendor has any ideas of the cause.
