Should this open up right away? He was open in the bag but closed on acclimation.

Depends on your tank and if you feed it

In my tank, yes. I bought two heads in June and it probably has 10 baby heads now.

Is there something wrong with the head on this Duncan. I just fed them and this head doesn't close up.
