Hey guys.
My Duncan coral was perfectly fine yesterday. When I came home today it had closed up. Within a few hours it had turned brown and was beginning to lose it’s flesh. The brown spots continue to spread
rapidly. It appears that one of my Cespitularia’s is also starting to turn brown.
Duncan today:
Tank yesterday:
Parameters:
Some backstory to what’s been going on in my tank:
4/4: Removed Chemipure and started Fluncanzole treatment
4/18: 50% water change
4/14-4/22 Massive cyano outbreak.
4/19 2 gallon water change to suck up cyano
4/21 Chemiclean treatment. Removed Chemipure, added airstone
4/23 4 gallon water change, removed air stone
Other considerations: Alk was high at 13.3 prior to 4/4 Flucanzole treatment due to dosing reef buffer to raise pH (stopped). Alk has since normalized after stopping dosing and performing water changes.
Anyone have any idea of what to do and what might be causing my Duncan to deteriorate so rapidly?
