So my duncan isnt looking too hot. Bought 2 from same store and were placed next to each other add at the same time also. One is doing great the other wasnt. I just recently moved him down to the bottom of the tank after giving him over 2 weeks of not coming out. ive had good parameters as the other one is flourishing as placed right next to him was getting about same flow and lighting. Is he too far gone or should i leave him at the bottom and let him just come back?

I had a new addition take a while before opening. I left mine alone and it finally opened up after about a month. I think if it is not losing tissue and things in your tank are stable. Let it be and it'll come around.

I dipped mine before introduction. It's possible it has something irritating it like a bug or flat worm.

I used DIY Bayer dip. Been working for me and my needs.

Lack of green flesh is concerning. I'd leave it alone.
