I love my duncan, it's so happy. Jen, do you find the care of a dendro to be simular to the duncan?

I find duncans to be easier. Easier to frag, faster to grow, and fun to watch eat. Don't get me wrong, I love my dendros but the growth in a duncan is amazing.

impur great pics

twon8 watch out, they are the goats of the reef. If they can reach it, they will eat it.=)

I would say a couple months depending on the conditions of the tank. The baby polyp takes longer to mature then a duncan polyp.

I can do a little project to determine the time, if anybody else wants to do this please do.=) Take pics and doc the time between growth.

Unfortunately, about 2 weeks after getting my dendro (Oct '05)
, it fell behind the rockwork (unglued). I looked & looked but couldn't find it. A year later (Oct '06) I upgraded to a bigger tank. I finally found it & it looked like this:

I was so happy to see some orange on it!

About a week later:

I know I started this thread about Duncans but I just wanted to show my Dendro now:

Not bad, after being lost behind the rocks for a year!
