Hey guys at Bulk Reef i was curious did you guys try to maintain pH higher as well during this last video about elevated Kh, cal, mag ? If you don’t mind can i ask what the ph was at ?

In all of our experiments we try to limit the amount of variables that could skew the underlying test. In the case of elevated Alk/Ca/Mg, we're not sure how the results would differ if we had also tried to chase and control pH, in which case the results we discovered probably wouldn't have the same value.

As Ryan mentions in the video, we did have a separate experiment for controlling the single variable of pH, however that resulted in an unforeseen failure. We do expect to set that back up and try again in the new BRS Lab space. :)
