So, I had a standard 100G display tank for many years and killed it with a single stupid mistake - while preparing to leave for a week in Puerto Vallarta I overdosed the system with about 7 gallons of kalkwasser. I was in a hurry to top off evaporation before we departed and left the drip valve open :( . The next day my son calls and says the tank is cloudy and everything looks slimy. A quick call to my LFS saved all of the fish and only the toughest softies... YAPLL - yet another painful lesson learned. On the bright side my lovely bride says "why don't we replace it with a bigger tank" so in anticipation of that build thread here's the interim grow out frag system:

Main tank is a shallow 60G 1x2x4 glass LFS castoff.
Sump is a junker 100G acrylic tank I got for free ;-) containing an SC150 skimmer, GFO tumbler, and lots of live rock. Running a doser for Randy's 2 part plus Mag.
Auxiliary tank is a 3 chamber acrylic LFS castoff used to grow various softies and cheato.
Seeing a pattern here?
Lighting for the main is a single 15K 250W MH.
Aux tank lighting is a 150W Chinese LED box and a 65W LED grow light for the cheato but some of the softies like it so...

Here's a little eye candy ;) Thanks for looking.
