I have a 100 gal total volume SPS tank with a chaeto refugium that I’ve been using all for reef to maintain. My ICP testing always shows a consistently low Iodide (44 mcg/l) and Flouride (.91 mcg/l).

ICP results if anyone wants to look. PDF below too https://www.triton-lab.de/en/showroom/icp-oes/219998

I bought Tritons iodine and fluoride and dose per their instructions as my prior ICP was low too. The trouble is that their bottles are small and the ammount of I is tiny that it’s not easily connected to a dosing pump and I only have 1 pump left. I’ve been hand dosing and frankly I forget to do it or get lazy.

Is there a good solution that I can connect to 1 dosing pump? Or something that might work better for me?

Thank you in advance.

I don’t know if you will detect a benefit if dosing, but there are diy recipes for these and most other ions folks use:

Appreciate it as always Doc. You think my numbers are decent enough that I should just let it ride?

Hard to say. Some folks believe they see improvements dosing those. Some do not.

There is a whole video by Chris Meckley the owner of ACI Aquaculture a coral farm about the benefits of dosing Iodine for Zoanthid and Palythoas.

Thanks. What I would hope to find someday is an experiment testing the benefit in a side by side study. :)
