I had an ICP test done and as expected, I have some things high, some things low, and some in check. I'm not opposed to moonshiners but it just seems like a lot of work and I'd likely have a hard time sticking with it long term. With that being said I don't know if I want to dose a more "all in one or two" solution because of dosing things that are already on the higher side (such as iron). Would there be any other options for me or should I just get the elements individually through moonshiners or somewhere else?

Side note: I am doing 10% weekly water changes via daily auto water changes. And my values on my ICP seem pretty good, but when I input into the reef moonshiners calculator it shows I need dose a lot of things, due to it is recommended to run slightly elevated levels.

There are loads of options, including commercial and DIY choices.

It is also worth looking into the detailed reason to dose (or not) and not necessarily dosing everything an ICP company (or moonshiners) think is needed.

RMS has a fairly high initial cost, but most elements will last a long while. It has served me very well in successfully growing out a tank of acropora. I haven’t done a WC in over a year, and that suits my busy work schedule and ability to easily dose myself or my sons daily.

To each their own and there are many ways to be successful!

You can send your ICP results to Captiv8 Aquaculture and Dr. Chris Wood, who is a Marine Biogeochemist, will mix up a custom formulation for you. He will also send you a do it yourself formula along with an overall analysisif that's the way you want to go.
