Easy beginner soft coral

It’s such a easy basic beginner coral but I still find it relaxing watching them blow around from the water flow , I love how much the green pops too.

Where do you live? Somebody can probably give you some GSP. I will if you live close.

Nothing wrong with a beginner buying a hardy coral, it a great tool for experience & confidence building.

I’m in California. I bought a drag today but I think it’s dead

It isn't dead. It takes a few days to open. About 6 weeks to look good.

Yes it’s fully cycled

I bought it with two or three strands only for 10 dollars since thats all I could find at my LFS

That looks a hundred times better than mine

Leathers make great first coral. Finger leathers will mimic large sps. My yellow clown goby hosts it.

Gsp great color keep it on an island .

Mushrooms great texture and color will float around the tank.

Lps is Duncan coral is great and spot feeding them is even better . It is a fast grower as well.

That's my two cents. Keep the gsp on an island.

Yea but it took a good 3-4 days before it opened like that

It just looked like a purple clump when I put it in my tank
