just tryung to add a third layer of failsafe to my avast marine ato. figured if i ran wild the salinity would drop right? then again 100 gallon tank 30 gallon reservoir. prob be alot of water on my floor for this amt of drop. but havemt written a line of code in awhile so just brushing up.

As long as your salinity probe is accurate that is good but mine would drop with air bubbles. You could set that in your alarms so that you can verify it.
