Hey guys, this echinata is my first lps. Have had it for about 4 months and it has not quite doubled in size. So seems to be growing well. The color on top has faded just a bit. Just wondering if it’s looking good to those of you who keep them on the regular.

Looks ok to me.. if it’s doubled in size in 4 months I’d say your doing good, mine have been very slow growers.

Thanks for the reply! Was just checking to see if it looked good. I was surprised with the growth so I knew it was healthy, just didn’t know if the slight loss of color was an issue. This is a photo from when I got it four months ago. It’s now spilling over the frag plug on all sides.

Looks good to me! That color fading could be a number of things, nutrients, trace elements, alk/Cal/mag stability, temp stability; All can cause that.
