like the title says looking for the best placement for my mp-40s
150 gallon 60x24x24 and have 2-mp-40s looking for the best placement its an open rock work its going to be most sps & chalices

Mp40 are great. I would suggest putting them on the sides of your tank. Try not to put them in direct path of any corals.

I have a 120g with 2 MP40's one on each side and they are offset from each other and it seems to work fine.

how far down off of the water line did you end up going? offset or exactly opposing each other? sync or anti sync? I am also in the middle of a build and just put my mp40's in. haven't adjusted the settings though, just wired them up. am looking for experienced advice thanks....

but how far down off the waterline???? and how high is your tanks? gravel? deep sand bed? glass bottom? your experience would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I have mine on each side towards the front part of tank about 6 Inches below surface.Also have a mp 10 in the middle on back of tank and i run them on reefcrest anti sync.
