I have a pair of MP10s in parent/child mode, when I turn of one for cleaning etc the other goes to 100% power, is this normal? and if so what is the best way to stop this from happening?

Do I need to unpair them?

If memory serves me, when they're in parent child mode they run whatever setting you have them set to. As soon as you disconnect one it defaults back to single mode as it no longer see's the parent pump or slave pump. There is no clean mode that im aware of, so i'd just turn down whichever pump ramps up after you disconnect the other.

Crazy to have that as a default, guess I can unpair them and try and time them to be similar to paired mode but I think they still do it even when not paired? If both on Mobis.

Seems a work around is first turning off the child pump then turning off the main pump as the main pump doesn’t switch to 100% power when the child goes off first, unlike if you switch the main off first for some reason that kicks the child pump to 100% power.
