well ive had this for about 2 weeks now changing fron a gen2 xr30. while i love the color and light output, i absolutely hate the app and not beling able to control through ecotech app, not a fan of mobious

Did you know this when you bought it?

1. It is included with the light. No "extra" $50-$100 to unlock the features.
2. It allows beginners to use predetermined schedules.
3. It allows experts to adjust everything.

Most importantly: Once you have it setup, just enjoy the light. Don't screw with it, Reefs don't like change.

What issues are you having? I've used it on multiple G5s and Vortechs. I've used it on 4 different Android phones and an iPhone. Can't think of a single issue to date.

Pick your light, choose the template, set sunrise and sunset. Done. There is no reason to mess with it after that unless you need to do some acclimation stuff.

not having a issue with it, but i do like the reef link app better, my mp40 isnt mobious ready so still needing to use 2 separate one's. i like being able to sit on my laptop and set and program lights and my power head. just wish they would have made it capatible with the reef link

You can get a chip to upgrade your mp40 so it works with Mobius then you won’t have 2 apps
