The Infectious Disease doctor put me on a concoction of different antibiotics and anti nausea medications. Im handling the new meds just fine. The finger is still not healed from surgery going on 3 months. It's almost there though. I'm looking at probably being off the medications a little before Halloween. Thanks for checking in.

That is just crazy. well wishes for a full recovery. are you seeing a wound specialist or doing fancy dressing changes?

Sorry you had to go through all that. Hopefully they got everything they needed to out during the surgery. Feel better and heal quickly!

All healed up now. Finally recently finished up on the antibiotics. Got a nice scar that runs all the way up the top of the finger and sure that will be a life reminder, but ah you know, that's how it goes sometimes.

This thread's an insane ride. I'm glad to hear it seems to be on the mend, @JaimeAdams. I'll make sure my gloves are ordered long before my tank is done cycling. Thank you for sharing, and I, for one, plan on learning from your mistake.
