Anyone know if I could wire this apc to that battery

If the battery voltage and chemistry is there same as the original battery, then you can probably connect it, but the components in the UPS may not be able to handle the charging time or backup time the larger battery provides. As a result it might produce excessive heat.

I had just been manually connecting it to inverter when power goes out.
 
If its a 12v DC backup and a 12v battery sure thing the amp draw will be dictated by APC anyhow so putting a higher rated battery is not only mo power its safer ! youll be using like 1/100 th of the cold amp start rating of a car battery
