Elegance coral question

So I caught my hippo tang ripping off tentacle tips on my elegance will the tips regrow or do the tentacles that lost there tips just never get the blue tips back?

I’m not super familiar with elegance corals, but every other coral I can think of can regenerate, so I’m fairly confident they will regrow.

They'll grow back if you can keep that hippo tang away from him

Once they start shredding, they don't stop. Hippo or elegance. The choice is yours

I can't catch the hippo it's killed/ destroyed alot of things I think I'm gonna have to drain the tank down

That's usually the quickest way to get them. Sadly.

I had a crash due to the person watching my tank while I was on vacation now the hippos back to being a jerk the only time I can get near it is when it's trying to slice me with it's tail
