Elegance coral woes

My elegance closed up out of the blue last week for 36hours, i opened a thread worried. And he opened back up 100% normal and healthy! Maybe give him some time? Following!!! Gl!

Due to the high hair algae levels, it says 0. I doubt that’s it tho

Well if your phosphates are reading 0 in the water stream it would have a negative effect on your corals. Anything in the cuc to mow down the hair algae?

Every thing in my cleanup crew refuses to clean it up. Lol

algae blenny, turbos, nothing.
It’s getting worse, the dip did not help. I’m going to keep an eye to make sure nothing is eating it.

I thought about getting one of those breeder boxes and putting it in there where completely isolated from everything… Any reason why that’s a bad idea? It would slow down the flow considerably, but I know they’re not a big fan of a heavy flow?

Guess what? Caught a dang peppermint shrimp eating it? One could say “oh he was eating mysis or dead matter... nah. Dude was trying me too. Seems to be only one, but I’m gonna try to catch the other two.
Had another acan mysteriously disappear.
