Who keeps Elegance coral? I got a nice Aussie and am a bit conflicted as to placement. Right now, I have it 1/2 way up on rock near the side away from my gyre, which is on the other side. I ask, because it closed yesterday and has not opened up much since. I do realize that this may be normal but am considering moving it to the sand bed, where it will get less light and flow.
Everything else in my mixed 120 gallon looks great!

Elegance corals can take a few days to settle in. I would place it in the sandbed as I have found they like it their. Light to moderate indirect flow is optimal, but they are pretty forgiving.

Thanks for the reply. I have had it for about a week and it just receded yesterday. Interestingly, it is expanding now, while only my blues are on. I think I may glue it to a thin rock and place it on the sand bed, where it will get less flow and light.
Thanks for the reply.
