I'm restocking my 40B and was considering an elegant dottyback. Would more than one be safe in a system this size? I know they're quite small, and supposedly peaceful for Pseudochromis.

From what I’ve read the dottybacks do better in pairs than trios, and do best if they are added young. The dominant fish will become male. There have been reports of males switching to female in the absence of a female. Not sure about that though.I'm restocking my 40B and was considering an elegant dottyback.
