I absolutely love crabs. I'm getting 3 emerald crabs for my 75g mixed reef. Whenever I see them in the store, they are TINY. Less than an inch wide, smaller than the vampire crabs I see. I know they can get to be 2-2.5 inches wide, but I never get to see any pictures where they are fully grown AND there's other things in the picture to compare them to.

If anyone with some big (or cute) emerald crabs would be so kind as to take some wide angle shots of them so I can see them in relation to a reef, it would be a big help!

I luv my crabs also and have had my Emerald Crab for about 4 months. I feed him every day and he can't be more than 2" wide. (8.3 gal. tank) Now my 2 Pitho crabs are a bit larger and they also get fed every day since those 3 crabs have cleaned up the rocks and I don't want them to starve. The Emeralds will stay in the rocks and rarely hit the sand bed but the Pithos stay in the sand bed and bury themselves when not eating. Get you some of them also if you can find them.

This was my biggest, I've had a few, they are either small and timid or large and bold. Large ones are the best. I feel like it's a male female thing or something
