I got these two as part of a CUC beginning of April. Never had emeralds before. Are they mating?

How’d this turn out? Got babies?
I do!!! I noticed an egg sac about 8-9 days after this picture. It took me another 2 days to coax her into a breeding box. About 3 weeks later I came home thinking she didn't make it because she was laying upside down. Turns out, she was trying to rip the sac open.

Hard to get a good count on something that small but I'd say there were 50-60 that made it out and about half lived this long. Several escaped the breeding box and became fish food. Who knew powder blues had a taste for baby crabs?

Wow that’s super awesome! Try to add some pics of the tiny babies if they aren’t all hidden in rock work! Try to find them at night! Super cool!
