Anyone else getting tired of all the live sales? Give me a regular sale with a coupon code. This shotgun tactics and convincing people they are saving money is annoying. Would be nice if it stopped.

It definitely is like gambling and it uses people's physiology against them. I don't like the gimmick. We will buy stuff without the gimmick. Just lately it feels like there is one every week. When it was once every few months you could at least prepare for the mental onslaught. Now it's just being hammered. Not one of my favorite things about the hobby that's for sure.
Apparently, I'm bad for business!Well look at the shear amount of vendors these days. Rehvtree stated explicitly just today, that r2r is a for profit business and vendors put money in his wallet for his family. Live sales bring traffic, and more money for the vendor and r2r.
Business is business and business is good apparently.
I'm in the same boat! I do not, and don't suspect that I ever will, participate in the live sales. I understand why vendors do them, But when I'm making purchases for my tank, I want to have the time to consider where the piece will go, how will it look, what are it's needs, etc. I have been putting different corals, and goods, in my shopping cars on various sites for weeks now, but have yet to hit the "purchase" button.Apparently, I'm bad for business!
That is very true and you can't blame anyone for putting food on the table or running a business as long as it's moral which this is. However the community dictates what sells. And unfortunately as much as I dislike live sales the majority apparently doesn't mind. Just wasn't sure if I was the only one.Well look at the shear amount of vendors these days.
