Had firefish and jawfish I purchased 2 weeks ago. My quarantine tank was covered with full glass cover except for 1.5 inch square in corner. Do fish actually know where that escape spot is? It was the jawfish I found on the floor. Now firefish is in display tank swimming around up top!,

It sure can seem like it.

You are keeping some infamous jumpers there. A little gutter guard, mesh, egg crate (stacked to minimize the hole size) or whatever you can find to cover that is a good idea.

Measure the top & get a pc of glass cut to those dimensions so it slides around the filter/Return, that's what I did on my older tank.

With this jumper I’m now worried about doing work,(cleaning inside glass,power heads,water changers) when I would need top open? Thing I heard it hit the top already.
Cutting out plexiglass pieces. Need to do other end of tank with intake/outtake

Looks good. Good luck with any further jumpers, i would deffently get another jawfish but that's me, luv them.

Yes especially whete they can see bright light above, they aim for it. Firefish are the worst
