ESHOPPS Mariner 70 Build

So my Derasa keeps falling over in the little cup... It's weird though, when it's standing upright it only opens halfway, but when it's laying on the side, it's fully open.

Let her acclimate. She is falling on purpose.

Well the good news is she has a healthy mantle and she has a white growth rim so I assume she's healthy.

I need to catch the new Joker from the DT and frag up a couple of Strats to take to th LFS for trades. I've got a few more Hydros accessories I want to add and free is a great price for them...

Brand new water made with brand new DI resin. 0 TDS again. Hopefully the red in the sand that's showing up starts going away soon.

I just walked by my tank and saw the female and bigger male Clownfish hanging out gently brushing against the Anemone in the Display!!!!

It is fairly close to the feeding tube from the Plank but maybe, just maybe, they're getting ready to be hosted? The female kept bumping up against it, staying for a bit, and then drifting away and turning and giving the Nem a side eye.

Here's hoping

So far it looks like they were just waiting for food but it's encouraging to see them starting to brush the Anemones. Maybe I'll try the picture trick eventually...

Also, not sure what's going on with the Derasa but it keeps ending up outside of the cup or laying upside down or on its side in the cup...

I got excited too last week when I saw my clowns get close to the BTA. I've been putting a tablet against the glass where they swim in the corner. 2 weeks going so far.

It took my sump clowns a week or two and they're in a fairly confined area with multiple BTAs. They actually started with the Leptastrea...

Are those clowns captive bred?

I gave up after 5 months and started chasing them around the tank with a turkey baster. Thought was that they would seek shelter in their shelter, the female brushed it a couple times during that exhibition and about a week later they were both finally home. Not advising to purposely stress them out but...

I was considering trying to print one.
If you can make your own to personalize one for your clam. It would be easier and less stressful for the critter. Having to make multiple adjustments, I am sure already causes issues. I also wonder if the clam disease is taken care of.

There were several people talking about clams having an illness which was causing them to die over a few months span. The vendors said nothing about it.

I remember Frank mentioning that a while back.
