Houston, we have a beautiful product! But a product with a not-so-little problem...

It's about 3" too short. 😅 🙄

It failed... Sort of. The top layers shifted ever so slightly. I'm thinking about turning the Ender back on and printing this one on there. Might be easier than changing all my speed settings on the Bambu for a single print.

I'd just change the speed in the advanced slider for that print rather than change it in the filament.

Yeah but my Bambu is set up for PLA, Ender is still set up for - and loaded with PETG.

I must say I hardly ever print PLA, just some knickknacks for the house and model railroading bits. My Bambu printers are both loaded with PETG (the A1 is currently a tad overloaded) and the Elegoo with PET-CF.

I've started unloading them more often lately as I find that at this time of year I need to redry the filament usually anyway.

I printed those dessicant boxes for the AMS and the humidity went from a 4 out of 5 to a 1 out of 5 within 2 hours.

I also started getting more stringing on the last couple of prints with PLA than when it was running at a 4 which is odd.

My wife bought a bunch of PLA for her co-op classes because it tends to print cleaner than PETG. I've got 5 or 6 rolls of PETG for my stuff and 10-12 of PLA for her stuff.

I just have an Eibos Easdry drier and two dozen vacuum bags with desiccant. My AMS is the Lite version so open. I've tried to print straight from the Easdry a couple times but it isn't very satisfactory.

Yeah, I've got a bunch of PLA around also some just to learn their characteristics, a few for fancy multi-color accessory holders for the printers or for decorative household items. I print almost nothing but grey PLA for my use of PLA. I'd say I print around eighty-five percent PETG and five percent each PLA, TPU and PET-CF.

What brand of PLA? What temp and speed are you printing the PLA?

Sounds like a temp / speed thing which is why I asked the question above?

I use mostly Matterhackers Build Series Gray, Black, and Tan PLA but the silks, mattes, and the other colors are Bambu. I don't remember the settings but for PLA I just use the default Bambu PLA Basic, Matte or Silk as appropriate or Generic PLA settings without modification.
