ESHOPPS Mariner 70 Build

..at least they drop it on your doorstep, my deliveries are usually tied to a tree at the end of the driveway :face-with-rolling-eyes:

FedEx randomly does something similar with us. They throw it as far up the yard as they can from the road and take a photo of just *the woods* as proof of delivery. It's great.

Plan for today after church or tomorrow if I run out of time today:

1. Cut the boards for the faux controller wall to hide the wires behind

Plan for tomorrow after WaveEngine shows up if I have time (the kids have horse lessons...)

1. Attach Hydros controllers and WiFi power strip
2. Predrill for second WaveEngine to make it easier when I get a second one
3. Predrill for XD since it's the last controller on my list
4. Rerun wires and setup Hydros X4 and XP8 on the Collective

How completely random is that??? Twinsies!

According to internet standards, this must be a optimal ratio for pH to temp since your corals are growing. We should obviously be aiming for a 1 to 10 ratio. Now I need to go check as my pH may be a little too high for optimal coloration and growth of my corals...

Ah yes, the Brownfield Ratio! Get on that!

So I have very limited space I'm dealing with to keep everything in the sump. Here's basically what I've come up with:

The space is 8.25" by 31" so I'm thinking an 8" 24" faux wall to help hide wires. It'd have a shelf on the top at the back that a power strip would sit on and be hidden mostly. That would give me all the power outlets I need and enough Sense and Drive ports for any future upgrades and two LE gives me 4 pump ports which is more than plenty for my tank. A second LE and the XD are the only current "missing" controllers and are the final two I had planned on adding.

Thoughts?

My wife said I should make it with peg board and use hooks instead of screws which is actually quite brilliant...

Ok... Neptune Sky over the 90 once it's setup and hope for an Orphek to supplement the 70 or not worry about the Orphek? I mean they're giving away 30...

I'm fairly certain I'm going to run the Neptune over the 90 since the 70 is doing good as it sits.

I understand that sky light is great for a 36x36 spread, right? Might fit your 70 best?
I've got 2 Noops on it currently. I've got 2 Noops for the 90 as well so the Neptune and 2 Noops would go on the 90.

Well, the WaveEngine shows delivering today between 11:10 and 3:10 but FedEx also shows the only update as "Package Received" in Maryland on the 17th and no other scans since... Their super helpful AI bot says it is on its way and arriving on time.
