I was wondering if anyone knows if an oil diffuser a room over could cause issues for a reef tank. I don't want to tell my wife she can't use her new present but I really don't want to lose my reef either. Any one familiar with potential issues?
My wife loves them as well. There are actually two in the room where my tank is. One is about 15 feet away and the other about 10 feet the other way and I have not had any issues.

What about wood of all sorts. From atticto basement . My home, soils, street sewage all infected with a white hair fungicide leaving the creekside and infected all life around me.. with bacteria from creek. Dead insect. Dead tree. Debri clogging water lines. Raising Manitoba from construction . Fine minerals enter water near tap lines by twisting roots using open holes creating more sand and less dirt... about 4 inches . Last 8 months since first notice. City work and maintenance also is cheap lazy service not maintaining or checking its own work. loss soils piping combo that turned cicadas into oil and used moth and dust mites since increasing insect mating and lifespan using trails and materials of all above with open cicada ground , to heat the ground melting and increasing decomposition adding more weeds to enter sewage and tree rings dry out land and spreading with the season and air.

Is this a serious post, or spam? It seems to have nothing to do with reef aquaria.

I wouldn't personally have it on the same floor, cbc marketplace did a special with a respirologist that showed essential oil diffusers skyrocket the amount of particles in the air that then settle everywhere (they also get inhaled). No idea what specific essential oil(s) would cause issues but I would assume some would once settling on the waters surface.
