As title states. I saw another smaller differ Zoa colony slowly dislodging and wilting, thought it was my large bristle star that sticks its arm out in that area irritating them. Now in the last few days my Rasta Zoa colony is slowly going.
The polyps first closeup and then start to turn brown/blackish until it’s gone. Tank is stable, only new additions were quarentine fish about a month ago. Pods and bristleworms show up on the dying polyps at night but that’s just because of the dying tissue I would assume as I don’t think they’re the cause. I don’t have amphipods in the tank, only smaller copepods.
They’re on a base rock of a glued structure so it’s basically going to be what it is as I can’t take the rock out to treat them. Just reaching out to see what exactly it is that’s going on.
