Do euphyllia like torches and hammers have a max height ? I know they get long and wide but how tall do they get?
Anyone know if putting them on a rock that has 8 inches of water above the top of the rock will be enough long term?

Yeah, the height won't be a problem. Just make sure that by placing them within 8 inches of the surface that they're not getting too much light/flow. Otherwise, they likely won't outgrow those 8".

It's going to be a LPS/softie tank not planning sps so I don't think it will get too much light or flow without there being sps in the tank. But yes I will check with a par meter 1st!
