Every reefer should own a wet/dry vac, right? So which one should they buy?

Well, I would agree that every reefer should probably invest at some point in a wet/dry vac for those...ummm...mishaps that can occur... Some of us might have put this purchase off longer than we should... So...which one would you recommend?? This is the one I'm eyeing right now:

CRAFTSMAN 9-Gallon Corded Portable Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum

Thoughts?

Most wet dry vacs will do the job. I have a few. Small ones are handy. Roller Wheels help.

I'd consider getting cheapest if just for tank since I killed a SHOP-VAC after a few years a SALT water clean up. It corroded and seized.

I dedicate one cheaper/smaller shop vac just for Reef Tank stuff, to keep hose & tips clean and contaminant free. That's because I've used my wet/dry to clean sludge in sump etc. You don't want to share the hose with Dirty work vac (ie garage, oils, paints).

This is a interesting model. Just a WET/DRY Power head. Fits on a bucket.

Absolutely the best thing ever for any person with a tank

$30 BUCKETHEAD

Fits 100% perfectly on any standard 5g bucket ...like an Instant Ocean bucket

Readily available at most lowes and home depots here in Canada :)

I use my Rigid 6 Gallon wet/dry vac although admittedly not much on my sump but it has cleaned up a few overflows of both salt and RODI water

Awesome, thanks! I'm picking up one of these. I've had a few minor spills but even a minor spill is nasty, especially on hardwood. I can't get over how much of a mess as little as 1/2 cup can make!! :-S
