Got my new evo three weeks ago.. let's help each other out.
I have found that adding a circulation pump is key to keeping my nitrate nitrite and ammonia levels down.
What's anything y'all might have to say?

I'm going to be adding a circulation pump soon. Right now I've just got zoas, leathers, and three fish. I want to add some LPS, so I think I'll need the additional circ. Glad to hear it's also helping keeping your nitrates down.

Has it only been up three weeks? And you already have fish in it?

Cheers,

Anybody know if the light provided with the evo and flex reefs can sustain stony corals, or would I have to put a real light on it... thanx zsu

That tank and rocks look brand spanking new. Are you testing for ammonia/nitrite levels (i.e. things that are toxic to your clownfish)?
On a sidenote, I do like your scape.

You definitely want to upgrade if you want stony.

The stock light did ok for me when I added a few LPS corals to my tank but it pretty much does just enough to keep them mildly happy without a whole lot of growth. Switched to an AI PrimeHD a few months back and I've seen explosive growth out of all of my stony corals. So I'd say more than likely you'd need to upgrade the light eventually, but it is strong enough to keep lower light stony corals alive.
