So iv bought this set up second hand had a nightmare moving it back home 2 hours away and struggling to unload it. Resulting in my other half dropping the tank and damaging the corner but all in all past that now

So the tank has

Tmc Luminare 900
Tmc return pump
Heater and probe
Wave makers
Reactor
Bubble magus skimmer

Livestock

2 percula clowns more black than standard
1x salfin tang
1x emperor cardinal
Tux sea urchin
Long legged star (ugly thing)
Boxer shrimp

Zoas
Toadstool
Green star xiena
Pulsing xiena
Green mushrooms
Clean up crew
And and some aiptasia (great!)

So originally I got the overhang wrong and I couldn't get the pipes to line up for the sump so stripped it down and fixed that. Adjusted the weir flow to make it quieter .

Next Il be checking water parameters regularly as I want a sps tank really. So Il keep adding to the thread as the tank progresses

installed a pendant with a led bulb for refuigum should be plenty of light I hope ! also cost me £0 . Tmc return pump has been on the blink so I'm hoping it is working properly again.

Looking for an auto top up now any suggestions?

Also any suggestions of equipment needed for a sps tank would be appeicated.

For an ATO, there are many good ones. I have the Tunze Osmolator 3155. It has the redundancy of an optical sensor and a float switch backup.

Iv been looking at the hydor or there is a UK builder who makes these reefloat things but they cost more . Cheaper the better really

TMC works well , blue marine has one aswell for £ 22 that I just found on eBay
