Thoes are actually USHIO bulbs , they generate crisp white light...
I can say that it's bridge between the 10,000k to 20,000k .
Very beautiful light

I have the 12.5K Giesemann would like to pick up some of these if available.

I would be interested in the BLV 14K. I have a case of 12 Giesemann 12.5's .
I just found the 14K BLV on their site. I was looking at the wrong site.
$150 for one! Yea this is not a cheap hobby. I paid $30 a piece for the 12.5's.
Same case of 12 would be $1800.
I may pick up a couple to test.
The one 12.5 I ran for around 3 weeks put down 250 more par than the 20k BLV. It was a nice light but the 20K looked better to my eyes.
I ran de 250 14K's on my old 120 and they color and growth was very nice.

Just finished the two LumenMax 2 reflectors. They still need glass.
I found these socket and cord assemblys for $6.
They have white 15' cords.
HTG supply has them.

The S51 HPS ballast fires the euro bulbs and pulls 464 watts vs 445 on my digital.
Going to swap the ignitor and see what it pulls.

I purchased this reflector, its 22", and is for a 1100 watt bulb. Another project to keep me occupied, lol.

Finished one. Plan to test par on this soon. 19" Lumenarc, new plug and 15' cord.
Went with black reflector and white plug box to match cord.

Changed my light settings.
Leds are on at 10 and off from 12:30-4:30.
Halide alone for 4 hrs.
Halide is on from 11-5:00
Leds back on from 4:30-8.
Want to get an idea of how the coral look under Halide only.

First time using a rivet tool.
Fixed 2 broken rivets and repaired a hole in another reflector with one.

I rewired this fixture. It was a 1000 watt MH.
Reflector without the glass is very light.
It could easily be painted.
Anyway for $100 less than a RB it puts out a nice par spread.
Its a 22×16 oval shape.

The smaller tank on the left is quarantine tank , completely separate from display tank .

Wow love seeing all the halides in the thread. I found an ato container on facebook marketplace and when i went to pick it up the guy had a mr aqua tank for sale as well and this was on top. 150w DE halide. He only wanted $200 for the entire system so I bought it before he could change his mind. A few weeks later he posted another halide one for $150 I'm really tempted to go and buy and redo my entire lighting system on my new build. lol

His new post I want. lol

Wish i had a 48" tank for this one here.

I think I'll set that 25g tank up with the halide. Add a led strip for color and see how it does. Where is the best place to fin double end bulbs? I haven't look yet cause i have a brand new one and that guy said the one in the fixture is 3 months old.
