Wow love seeing all the halides in the thread. I found an ato container on facebook marketplace and when i went to pick it up the guy had a mr aqua tank for sale as well and this was on top. 150w DE halide. He only wanted $200 for the entire system so I bought it before he could change his mind. A few weeks later he posted another halide one for $150 I'm really tempted to go and buy and redo my entire lighting system on my new build. lol

Wish i had a 48" tank for this one here.

Dang that's a ton of bulbs. lol if I had it my way I'd be doing the same thing. lol

Just swapped the Ushio 20K for the Radium 20k. Was almost 6 months with the Ushio. Going to run the Radium for 6 months.
The Radium appears brighter to the eye.
Focus is on color now that the system is 6 months.

I just noticed your sea swirl. Curious on how you like it? I just ordered 2- 3/4" for a 135g cube tank and haven't seen to many people using them. Can't wait to see what colors you start pulling out on.

I run the Sea Sweep with a Jebao ow-40. Sea swirls are for the returns.
I run 2 sweeps with Tunze 6255's on my 150. Nothing more is needed.
If I was to purchase now it would be the Tunze Orca 6105.

This tiny frag entered to quarantine tank 10 days ago.
It was completely green .
It’s getting light from 4 T5’s bulbs and also little bit the MH .
Quarantine tank is located 10 cm near display tank .

I broke the octospawn in my 15. Its 2 heads and now enjoys the halide vs the xr15 on a 3" disc.

As you may know I killed my 9430dc by dripping kalk above the pump in my 170. Dumbest thing I have done in awhile.
Anyway a pump is $400 to replace.

So I am converting it to a venturi skimmer. First attempt is to do it for as little money as possible, lol.

Jebao mdp 5500 was $100 open box.
I am using a 3/4" irrigation injector, $7, but had to buy 2 for $14.
A 3/4" Mazzi is 70-$90.
Pvc valve and fittings $20.

About $140 total with tax.

If this works I will do a spare 9410 I have.

This is just waiting for the pump to be delivered.
This will replace the 9430dc I currently run.
