Oh man, that sucks. Sorry. So yesterday was a bummer. I had 2 anthias. One was startimg to turn male and was 4" easily.
When lights came on it was nowhere to be found. The other one is fine. I had both of them for almost 2 years now.
No po4 spike observed yet but the system should be able to handle it.

Thanks. Its not the first or last time it will happen. The part that sucks is not knowing why.Oh man, that sucks. Sorry.
Ive been searching all over the LFS for some bubble gum digi with no luck in atlanta. I hope to get some one day. lol.Thanks. Its not the first or last time it will happen. The part that sucks is not knowing why.
Urchin and crabs would be all over it if it was dead but not seeing that. Down to 9 fish now. The other anthia looks fine.
Was not going to add more fish as the system is peaceful.
Trimmed the bubblegum digi again. Have frags no one wants, lol.
If you were local I would give you some. I always have frags of it.Ive been searching all over the LFS for some bubble gum digi with no luck in atlanta. I hope to get some one day. lol.
I went by 5 LFS and spoke with all 5 owners when I made a trips around the stores about an month ago. Everyone of them had different idea as what the bubble gum should look alike compared to the forest fire. Surprisingly most the owner didn’t know concretely this is it. But one of the owner was able to explain that forest fire is just that. Green body with red polys. Forest on fire. Bubble gum seems to have more fluorescent mixture of 3 colors. Where I think forest fire has two (green and red) granted the tip kinda look bluish but really not. I’ve grabbed one of a frag at one store but I think it’s just red digi…. Bubble gum has lots of blue I assume?!? They say you can tell by the growth of the base but I don’t have one to compare to….If you were local I would give you some. I always have frags of it.

Thank you for the kind words :). I was trying to give two thumbs up but it’s hard to press the right moji.
I used 8020, 15 series, it should all be in this post.Currently planning my own IM100 upgrade from my seapora 80g, Wondering how you built the light stand behind the tank. Looks like you built a base box then 2 L's came up from there to support a bar that goes across the length of the tank? Or did you mount the bottom of the tank to the frame of the tank?
Can you use just any aluminum? or should I get a specific one to mimic your design
Do you have frags of this growing under different lights? It would be interesting to see the difference.A year ago when I got it and today. Not sure of the name but I like the structure.
You can see the WD colony I lost in the back.

Thinking more about my sump choice for my IM100, I really want the luna reef EECO4418 sump for that extra space over the 3418 but the stand inner dimm is 42 inches wide. Would there be enough clearance to make a shelf out of the bottom of the stand, lay some pvc board over the aluminum and have the 44 inch sump fit while still being able to close the doors?I used 8020, 15 series, it should all be in this post.
They all have 12" wide 8020 box/cabinet.
On my ext112 I attatched it to the stand top and bottom with tnutz and bolts. It is more sturdy than the 170 and 50 that are not attatched but both work.
Here is some pics of the 112 and how I attatched it.
Note: the blue painters tape. Use it to secure the top when putting on the tank.

I guess what I am really asking is how much space is used by the aluminum frame inside the stand that I could possibly reclaim
