So yesterday was a bummer. I had 2 anthias. One was startimg to turn male and was 4" easily.
When lights came on it was nowhere to be found. The other one is fine. I had both of them for almost 2 years now.
No po4 spike observed yet but the system should be able to handle it.
Old pic.

Oh man, that sucks. Sorry.
Thanks. Its not the first or last time it will happen. The part that sucks is not knowing why.
Urchin and crabs would be all over it if it was dead but not seeing that. Down to 9 fish now. The other anthia looks fine.
Was not going to add more fish as the system is peaceful.
Trimmed the bubblegum digi again. Have frags no one wants, lol.

I went by 5 LFS and spoke with all 5 owners when I made a trips around the stores about an month ago. Everyone of them had different idea as what the bubble gum should look alike compared to the forest fire. Surprisingly most the owner didn’t know concretely this is it. But one of the owner was able to explain that forest fire is just that. Green body with red polys. Forest on fire. Bubble gum seems to have more fluorescent mixture of 3 colors. Where I think forest fire has two (green and red) granted the tip kinda look bluish but really not. I’ve grabbed one of a frag at one store but I think it’s just red digi…. Bubble gum has lots of blue I assume?!? They say you can tell by the growth of the base but I don’t have one to compare to….

Thank you for the kind words :). I was trying to give two thumbs up but it’s hard to press the right moji.

Yea I cant keep up with names, lol.
So mine is a forest fire. I have the bubblegum in a small frag. Definate difference in color of the 2. Forset fires polyps are orange, bubblegum is red/orange a definate difference. Tips can be blueish.
I will get a pic of the 2 together in my growput tank when the lights come on later today.

Only good photo I have of the forest fire digi in my tank. They turned out to be same. I havnt seen that green tips thought. Only bluish white. I think the light intensity has something to do with it!
