Extending Ice cap gyre power cable?

Has anyone out there extended their Ice cap gyre's power cable because it wasn't long enough to reach their controller? If so how did you do it?

Do you know what wire I need to cut and splice? That cable isn't actually for ice cap gyres. I already bought one hoping it was and had to return in.

all of them. Cut in middle and add wire to both ends (3 wires).

Sorry I meant what type of wire do I use to splice in?

the same gauge, bring the cut end to home depot/lowe's and they will can help. Gauge may be labeled on wire
