After some advice for anyone who has done this before.

I have my display tank in the dining room with two 600 litre IBC's for my mixing station In the garage.

I have ran the ATO line from the RODI tank to the display which wasn't an easy but I will be acquiring some coral tables soon so my plan is to make a fish room inside the garage.

I want to plan in a large sump in the garage supplying everything and the display inside the house.

The display tank currently has two drains on either end of the tank from two weirs into the sump so I was wondering if I get rid of the sump under the tank would you use a pump to pump the display tank water over to the garage and then pump it back or leave gravity to do Its thing?

I was thinking about digging the supply and return into the ground under the patio between the house and garage but was worried if it ever sprung a leak so might take it over the top of the gate.

What's your thoughts? Have you done anything similar?
