Fail-safes?

What kind of fail-safe does everyone use on your aquarium and equipment? Working on a new build and any tips would be helpful!

GFCI Per APEX outlet is a good one.

That way, if one piece of equipment goes bad, you don't have everything shut off, just the faulty equipment.

Second is a webcam or two, for monitoring and inspecting when alarms go off and you are not home (90% of the time it seems)

I used to use a lot of fancy equipment and expenses gadget's but that was getting expensive and hard to keep up with . and all the WiFi connections the internet going down fire walls and everything else I was fighting with I knew there had to be a better option out there I just couldn't find one so after about a year if searching I decide I need to make my own system and design from a had core reefers view on this . so after about six months I had exactly what I need it can't be reproduced for other tanks tho i am confident others can use the same idea and apply it their needs and tweek it as need for their systems also adding a camera might help...

to get what you want you need to go onto a child care website find an young man or woman to come watch you tank for 6 -8 hours a day ruffly 2 hours after you leave for work they show up and take care of everything and leave 2 hours before you get home . pretty much you will never have a true failure that happens in a 2 hour period so you will be happy knowing your fish and corals are safe!!and for a added security add a camera so you can keep an eye on things hope this helps Share Gif: http://media1.giphy.com/media/34Du6omCm0X84/200w.gif
