Sorry everyone, but i feel like i have to rant

My world is falling apart...

my sister is going to be held back freshman year
my brother is going to be held back first grade
my parents might divorce

then on top of all the family stuff

my first girlfriend....my first love...my first so for many broke up with me
cuz "she wasnt ready to be with one guy"

i feel like crap and feel theres nothing i can do to change anything

love hurts....life hurts...but it helps so much that you have friends

Brandon, I'm sorry for all of your hard times. Please take a breath and try to deal with only what you, yourself, are able to address. You most likely can't do anything about your siblings's school problems or the possible divorce. I'd say the only thing you can control is how you choose to deal with these difficulties. As for your girlfriend, I know it's just added fuel to your problems but things will be better one day. It's so hard to see that right now in the middle of it all, but put your head down and trudge through. Soon, it will all be behind you.

I'm thinking of you. Not much but hope that helps a bit.

Brandon your not alone brother. Times like that is what tests a mans soul and is a great reason to call up the buddies and get just completely shi# faced.

We're here for you to rant with Brandon, never think you are alone. Most everyone here over 20 and under 80 has been through most of those things.....sadly, they have become part of life as we know it. Things definitely get better, the sun will always come up tomorrow, and zoanthids will still die for no apparent reason! :) Chin up, vent here anytime though.

Peace, Bryan

God blesses us everyday for reasons we don't know. He challenges our spirit and soul. Always remember he won't give you anything you can't handle. I know sometimes he has a bad since of tact. He love all and curses none. Just ask him for guidence and wisdom. We all care as we have all learned. Keep smiling and soon life will smile back.

Dustin

Keep your chin up. How you learn to handle these types of things at an early bstage in life will somewhat dictate how you will handle things later in life, so breathe it out (or hug it out, as Arie might say;)). Everything happens for a purpose. The purpose is rarely ever known when something happens, but eventually you'll see why it happened in the grand scheme of things. I'm with coralnutz on Kharma. Regardless of what life sends your way, keep yourself consistenly as good as possible to people and the good will outweigh the bad in the end. There seem to be more potholes and speed bumps in life than flat roads, but they add to the spice of life;).

Just take a breather and stare off into the tank on days like this. The family stuff sux, but you cant really do anything about that. As for the GF, I know what its like to have your first love walk on you, you will remember it forever, BUT you will find someone better..Your young, shes young, you have plenty of time to get caught up in that kind of stuff. Just chill and keep your own head straight. GL

if i could attach some music here, i would give you a little monty python song, from the end of life of brian, so if you've got that movie around, go to the crucifixtion scene at the end and enjoy

Hey hon.....that sounds like a real rough spell coming up for you. In times like this I find it is best to journal. It sounds hokey at first, but nothing is better than to pour your fear into a page only to look at it with relief a week later because it no longer seems so scary. I try to rant out everything that has my juju all in a knot, then I highlight each seperate 'thing'. For each thing, I put it on one of 2 lists 1)I can do something about this 2)I can't do anything about this. The stuff that is on list 2 you must put away as something beyond your control. You can't beat yourself up over, worry about, second guess, feel guilt over stuff that is simply not in your control. Make up your mind to just shove those things out to see on a pile of sticks and set them a flame. Then address the list of things you can do something about. Prioritize it. Come up with steps to bring about the desired outcomes. Don't do anything fast though....what feels like your world falling apart usually feels less desperate in a few days. I don't know how old you are but I was 15 when my dad left....and the only thing I can think there is that is TOTALLY THEIR DEAL....has nothing to do with you or your siblings....and it sounds like any benefit of being a untied front for you and your siblings is being squashed by any unhealthy environment that marital problems create. How old are you?

Just don't try to ignore what you feel, yet don't let it overwelm you. I find jounrnaling helps because you are paying attention to your feelings of mourning and hurt in a very concerete way....and you can put the book down when your down. Take a deep breathe, shut the page, and say, 'Okay....all my troubles are there...I'm shutting the page on them for now but I'll return then them and they'll seem fresher when I do.' And allow yourself breaks of feeling purely depressed in between all this mess your going through. And vent away at places like here, or where ever feel comfortable to you. Willing to hear problems and give my take on them.

...that's why god invented BEER!!! Just kidding...life goes on, and the sun will always rise...so kick back and keep yourself busy with tank things to keep your mind off the topics that bother you!

Had to chime in on this one

Brandon, there is a popular song out that says, " God gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb". It just seems you got all of your mountains at once! The deal with you parents is just that... Their deal, not yours! I don't know for sure but you siblings school performance will probably improve when this is over with. As for the ladies, they will come and go. When the right one is there, you'll know it! This is the time for you to experience many relationships, not just one. This is the way we learn to "know the right one" when we see her. You keep that head up. I promise you these are the toughest years you will face and it only gets better my friend. You stay in touch and keep us posted , Scott

I will add this as well to the other advice. Talk to someone who can bring you peace. Jesus does it for me. ;) Prayin for you bud.

Thanks everyone so much for your support

it really means alot to me

Although i know that, or rather hope that, the pain will go away
i just need time i guess...

thank you all again for being here
