I have a 8 week old 75g tank.

Lights: Deep Blue Solar xtreme SE, 42448 Lamp Type : T5, G14 54WModel SE, 42448

75lbs of premium live rock: half live sand/half regular

Eshopps rs100 sump with skimmer

I came down with ich in a bad way. 8 of 9 fish died and my only survivor is in the qt. There may be a combination of diseases in the DT but ich for sure. All of my corals and rock seem fine.

I am convinced that a qt tank for all new fish will be my new method of introducing new members to my DT.

My questions and concern is... Will having a fish-less tank for 8+ weeks completely ensure all diseases are gone? I have heard that about ich but does this include other fungi, Bacteria, and viral diseases?

If not, What do I need to do to ensure my display tank will be as perfect as possible when I finally re-introduce fish to it again?

Thanks in advance!

I think after 8 weeks you'll be fine. A QT tank is a great idea, you wont regret it.
