I definitely did and you weren’t imagining it. I wanted the same lights over every tank to make photos easier and to make moving the corals to any system not be an issue due to lighting change. I have Radions and T5 over the display as well.
And here I am thinking about putting a 48” 8 bulb over one of my lowboys... sigh. lol

I don’t consider the Radion lighting superior to the ATI T5 fixture. The technology is great and less heat is wonderful. Otherwise, I kind of miss my T5s.

Less heat is definitely a good thing in the south!!! I’m looking for better growth. I currently have one lowboy with radion hybrids and another with black box hybrids. Seriously thinking about throwing my 8 bulb on the black box lowboy. Black boxes has given some good colors but growth is kinda meh.

I would switch the black boxes for T5 any day.

Found some photos I took and didn’t get time to process them yet. You guys are only getting two each post though... gotta stretch what I got until I get another chance to get into the fish room with the camera for another photo session. :D

MattV Rainbow Envy... have to keep showing shots of this frag. It’s just so nice and didn’t need to be drowned in blues.

After the cavity search threat, this quote is somewhat concerning! But at least it's producing results!:p
It’s not how it happened that you care about... as long as you get your results still. You must be in a managerial role at work? :p

How does it feel Ty? To be a man with such power that the simple act of withholding pictures has us mere acro peasants ready to riot!?

I felt the mob had more power! I was just trying to comply to their wishes before they fired me! Or worst!

Went back to the well for this one. Old FarmerTy Bluebonnet acro that I lost years ago. It was like if a tenuis and an ice fire echinata had a baby.

Quick update, realized when using my temp gun that my temp was colder than what my Apex temp probe was reporting. I’ll confirm later this week when I use a calibrated thermometer but it appears to be 2 degrees off. Being that I was running a bit cold already at 76-78... means I’ve been running my tank at 74-76 for who knows how long. Might explain why my milles haven’t looked the happiest of late. Either case, slowly bringing up the temp over the next 2 weeks to around 78-80 and see how corals improve. I will be interesting to see.
