alright. I think I know what kind of scape I want to do.

I’m going to do live rock from Tampa bay saltwater but I want branch rock in there too

below are scapes I found that I’m taking inspiration from

This top picture is what I want to do

Alright I started gluing rock to the back wall!

I really like it. Just need to get the plumbing together before I finish the rest.

I ended up using loctite aquarium safe clear silicon and it’s working really well.

Hopefully will have the plumbing and the
done this weekend.

Plumbing is complete! Going to let everything dry and out water in tomorrow to see if any leaks.

this will be very easy to convert over to a sump when im ready.

the tank came with the FX5. I’ve used one of these for a reef tank before and it worked awesome. So I’ll roll with it until im ready to switch to a sump.

I got a piece of Tongan live reed rock that a LFS had hiding for a long time! And it had a hidden rose bubble anemone! (I think that’s what it is)

The bubble tip disappeared!

I don’t see it anywhere.

Or it’s just completely deflated

Messed with it a little more and much happier.

really just added a bridge on both sides.

I’m getting a small order from Tampa bay live rock to fill in some spots.

Not sure if it’s a good sign or not. But this anemone is just moving all over the rock he makes been on.

I’m actually impressed on how fast it is sometimes.

Thank tank fits the corner like a glove! I think it would be awesome to put some sort of encrusting coral over those tiki statues.

I have seen another corner tank just like that one when I lived in Columbus. I remember cleaning it all the time for a friend and it was a pain in the butt to access stuff in it. I think there must have been an acrylic fabricator in Columbus that made a lot of unusually shapes tanks. Who knows, that may have been the one my sister-in-laws' parents had that I cleaned all the time.

yeah I was flip flopping about getting back into the hobby and this tank popped up and I just assumed it was destiny/a sign to get back in

yeah the plan is to get encrusting corals for the tiki heads!
