About time! I like the water mixing/storage container you have there. How much water does it hold?

Here it is! I need to mess with the brackets and the wires a bit more.

To hide the wires along the bracket legs go to HD or Lowe's and get the plastic wire tracks that you can use to hide wires along walls and just paint them the color of the legs, I used one along the back of my tank to help keep the wires from just hanging loose. They come with double sided tape.
ok awesome! ill check that out
so big update. I am going to making a canopy to hide the brackets, lights and wires. Also the biggest reason I am doing it is everyone hate the blue glow it puts out..... whatever thats fine ill hide it the best I can. so that means some kind of hanging canopy. that still allows you to see the rimless edge. ive got a ton of carboard laying around for stuff being shipped so Im going to cut that tp what I think will work and show you guys what im talking about
ha the only reason I am doing this is because my fiance hates the glow and it is her parents rental house and they hate the glow also. so Im just trying to please everyone. If I do it right I think it will look really good though
Stop making my life more difficult and adding to the list of good ideas I should use for my next build! :-P
I always wanted a canopy but they have bad salt creep problems and make it a pain to run maintenance. But this idea is great because they glow can be annoying when you see it out of the corner of your eye
sent from my phone.
For reference the one shown in the picture I posted is also over a 57 rimless. The dimensions on it are 36"x18" and 8.5" tall. It's roughly 20" off the top edge of the tank
