Hahaha I can't afford another hobby like this one! I'm thinking of just finding a nice banjo on Craigslist. And find a teacher for about 25 buck a lesson

I spend a lot if time sitting around doing absolutely nothing! So I figured I should start making better use of my time

Why not start with guitar? You can teach yourself. It's more expensive than this hobby though!

Looking good mike. Have you done any work on the canopy?

Neh thats been put on hold while we are redoing the kitchen. Im also throwing around a couple different ideas on what I want to do for a canopy. maybe a shell to put around the tank with shelves on each side so I have a place to put some things and make it look really nice.

What about home brewing?

actually not a bad Idea I would need to do some major research before I tried that I have no idea where to start! hahaha a few years back my friend decided to make some "hooch" in his dorm room he put the stuff in it and let it ferment. Ha I refused to try any of it and im pretty sure he didnt try it either. oooooo good times.

Home Brewing is a lot of fun but it takes a lot of equipment also. When the kids get a little older, I'll set my equipment back up and start brewing again.

Just be careful! Reefing when intoxicated can be dangerous! One moment your drinking and next thing you know you're half naked in your urine contaminated aquarium.

That is something I have not figured out yet. I am thinking about putting black egg crate over top of it for now and figure something out later or just stick with that

Not positive though

1/2" egg crate will not keep most wrasses in and it will block a considerable amount of light. 1/4" mesh screening works best.

Yep I built a very nice mesh screen top! But then I broke it..... Lol so I'm going up have to make another one! Luckily I found a guy that sells exactly what I'm looking for.

I just need to figure out where to cut out around to get around the return and the drain.

Wellllll had it in a closet with all my fish stuff. And it fell over and I didn't know and I stepped on it lol. I snapped it and completely ruined it!

So I'm just going to order one from BRS
