My father had a 500g reef tank which I grew up with... before the Internet. He had a porcupine puffer in his tank. Since then everywhere I look it's said never have one in a reef tank, but his did great. What's been your experience?

I never would've believed that an anemone could have personality but over time my carpet has definite moods... sometimes he's wilted other times very alert other times angry. Cool animal!!!

I love the starry blenny!! He has such personality! He will perch on just about anything and just sit around watching over his domain. He even tries to attack me when I get too close to his little cave. The one I saw our LFS is pretty much the reason why I began the adventure into marine aquarium keeping.

Sir Pufferton was in our 135 gallon reef tank for about a week......... I purchased a large clean up crew of about 30 snails and 50-60 hermits.... He devoured at least half of the snails and a few of the hermits. We had hoped that we could keep him fed well enough that he would ignore them... Nope... He now lives in a separate tank. They're cool fish, but are ALWAYS hungry!

Going from "wilted" to "alert" often is not a good sign for an S. haddoni.
